owned by professional musician and producer, Robert Cooper.
Open for business, catering for all forms of music production -
from recording, mixing and mastering,
to composition, arrangement and score production.
Studio 5B was established in 2020 with the aim of providing the town centre of Barnsley with a facility capable of achieving the highest quality results in music production. It offers services that will satisfy the need of any client looking to produce any type of music, all in great comfort, with great affordability.
At the heart of Studio 5B is producer, musical director and composer Robert Cooper MMus. After achieving a First Class degree in Music, Robert studied a Masters in Composition at The University of Manchester. First and foremost a classical pianist, Robert is also a capable multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and arranger. His studies in electronic music at The University of Manchester led to him pursuing the career path of a producer, teaching himself the art of mixing, mastering and music production. Outside of the studio, Robert works as a musical director and accompanist for numerous musical theatre and choral groups, including the world-renowned Barnsley Youth Choir. Where Robert excels is in the ability to bring this broad range of musical experiences and talents together.
Whilst Studio 5B offers a high-end facility, equipped with professional production gear, the fact that clients can be guided through whatever needs they require by Robert, all whilst employing his professionalism and expertise, is it's greatest asset.
